Chambal Chicken in Barbat Masala
ingredients
- 600 gms Chicken.
- 200 gms onions / 3 Onions. Grind to a paste.
- 40 gms / 2 tbsp ginger garlic. Grind to a paste.
- 20 to 25 gms / 2 & half table spoon Barbat masala.
- 1 or 2 bay leaf.
- 50gms curds.
- 1 full tbsp Corriander powder.
- 1 tsp turmeric powder.
- 2 to 3 slit green chilies.
- Salt to taste.
- 100gms oil
- 2 boiled eggs for decoration.
- Fresh corriander leaves for garnishing.
instructions
- Marinade the chicken with turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, salt & curds.
- Heat oil.
- Put one bay leaf & add the ground onion paste & fry till pink.
- Add 1 tbsp corriander powder along with ground barbat masala. Fry well.
- Add the marinated chicken pieces & fry til oil separates.
- Add the remaining marinate with 1/2 glass of water & cook on slow flame till chicken is cooked.
- Garnish with fresh corriander leaves & the slit green chilies.
- Decorated with the boiled eggs & serve.
