ingredients
  • 500 gms Channa Daal.
  • 50gms / 4 tabspoon barbat masala.
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 to 3 medium-sized onions.
  • 1/ tsp mustard seeds.
  • 1/2 tsp Jaggery.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 75gms Oil.
  • Fresh corriander to garnish.
instructions
  • Boil the channa Daal in 4 glasses of water.
  • Separate the water from Daal & keep aside.
  • Add 1/2 katorie of the boiled Daal to the water & the rest of the Daal is used to make purana poli.
  • Heat oil.
  • Add mustard & then ground onions paste. Fry well & then add the ginger garlic paste.
  • Add ground barbat masala fry well.
  • Add the boiled channa Daal water with the Daal.
  • Add Jaggery & Salt to taste.
  • Garnish with corriander leaves.
