ingredients
- 500 gms Channa Daal.
- 50gms / 4 tabspoon barbat masala.
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 to 3 medium-sized onions.
- 1/ tsp mustard seeds.
- 1/2 tsp Jaggery.
- Salt to taste.
- 75gms Oil.
- Fresh corriander to garnish.
instructions
- Boil the channa Daal in 4 glasses of water.
- Separate the water from Daal & keep aside.
- Add 1/2 katorie of the boiled Daal to the water & the rest of the Daal is used to make purana poli.
- Heat oil.
- Add mustard & then ground onions paste. Fry well & then add the ginger garlic paste.
- Add ground barbat masala fry well.
- Add the boiled channa Daal water with the Daal.
- Add Jaggery & Salt to taste.
- Garnish with corriander leaves.
