Aloo matar

ingredients
  • 250 grams of small potatoes.
  • 200 gms of fresh peas.
  • 2 medium onions paste
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste.
  • 2 tbsps of barbat masala ground to a fine paste.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Pinch of turmeric.
  • Fresh corriander leaves to garnish.
instructions
  • Peel potatoes & cut into half
  • Peel the peas.
  • Heat oil. Add onions and ginger garlic paste & cook till golden brown.
  • Add the ground barbat masala & fry till oil separates.
  • Add salt & turmeric powder.
  • Add the potatoes and peas, saute well.
  • Add water. Cook till vegetables are done. Garnish with fresh corriander leaves.
  • Similarly, we can make Aloo baingan gravy, mixed vegetables & dal fry .
  • Aloo matar Sabzi.
