Aloo matar
ingredients
- 250 grams of small potatoes.
- 200 gms of fresh peas.
- 2 medium onions paste
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste.
- 2 tbsps of barbat masala ground to a fine paste.
- Salt to taste.
- Pinch of turmeric.
- Fresh corriander leaves to garnish.
instructions
- Peel potatoes & cut into half
- Peel the peas.
- Heat oil. Add onions and ginger garlic paste & cook till golden brown.
- Add the ground barbat masala & fry till oil separates.
- Add salt & turmeric powder.
- Add the potatoes and peas, saute well.
- Add water. Cook till vegetables are done. Garnish with fresh corriander leaves.
- Similarly, we can make Aloo baingan gravy, mixed vegetables & dal fry .
